Connecting In Person + Olly's $10M Online Education Business Blueprint

Published 8 months ago • 1 min read

Working in the education business is exciting, fulfilling, and an opportunity to meet many amazing people.

I'm genuinely grateful and blown away by the clients I get to work with, and the colleagues and friends I make.

But there is nothing like meeting in person to connect, swap notes and tips, and share the entrepreneurial journey.

I was reminded to make this happen more regularly when I recently joined an intimate inaugural dinner for online entrepreneurs in the UK hosted by Olly Richards and Noel Andrews.

Here's a photo of us after our meal in London, smiles all around :)

If you're not familiar with Olly's work, I recommend checking out his case study where he shares his blueprint for building a $10M online education business.

His humbleness, practical steps, and hard lessons learnt from experience, make his case study a refreshing read and guide.

You won't find any guru tactics in there.

Olly shares with generosity, like in his blog post: 35 Business Lessons From My Mentors.

To connecting more in person and growing our education businesses,

Curious about MySnapshot and how it can accelerate your learners’ results and measure your program's ROI?

Want a sounding board for developing your program's framework?

I love working with smart professionals and businesses to create:

  • A clear and powerful framework for your program which enables your learners' results.
  • Visuals of your frameworks to bring them to life.
  • A self-assessment that measures your learners' progress and the impact of your program.

Just reply to this email and tell me a bit about you and your program or community, and what you'd like to work on together and I'll get you all the details.

A postcard from Barcelona today, where I've been the last few days to celebrate my birthday. The trip has been a great reminder for me on the power of rest, taking time out, and mixing up my environments. I can never get enough aeroplane views! Not only can it be fun to take time out, it nurtures our ability to 'incubate', the second stage of the four-stage process of creativity. To incubate is to not think consciously about a problem or topic. To let our brain have “downtime” and space to...

Hi Reader, It's been a few weeks since I've been in touch! I hope you're good and 2024 is treating you well. I'm great. Despite catching an awful virus in January and somehow managing to tear a ligament in my left foot (crazy story)... It's been exciting to work with experts on their visual mental models and assessments. Here's what I've been up to with three clients this January and February.
